The Valley’s original local WineCafe, Postino began in 2001 with a vision and some homegrown determination. After renovating the historic Arcadia Post Office Building, the partners built a foundation with unique, approachable wines; simple, delicious food prepared with local ingredients; and a warm, edgy culture that brings everyone together. Today, Postino continues this tradition with six unique locations, each set in historically relevant buildings integral to the neighborhoods that surround them.
Phoenix, Arizona The flagship. The soul.
Where it all began.
The 1950’s-era Arcadia Post Office was transformed into a local haunt that helped ignite the Arcadia neighborhood. Featuring mid-century style with local artisan touches, a hand-carved wood wine wall, open, communal dining spaces, iconic garage doors and a cozy, candlelit patio.
Phoenix, Arizona Debonair, with flair. Postino Central is urban-cool in one of the oldest neighborhoods in Phoenix. Situated on a historically-rich stretch of Central Avenue, Postino Central blends vintage roots with modern sensibilities in a building that long served as the North Central Phoenix institution Katz’s Deli. Breezes float through the indoor/outdoor bar, while firepits and living-room style seating keep the conversations going well into the evening.
Downtown Gilbert, Arizona Housed inside the Grainbelt building in the heart of downtown Gilbert’s historic Heritage District, Postino East opened in 2012 just steps from the Hale Theater and under the dutiful watch of the Gilbert water tower. Featuring a winning mix of indoor/outdoor dining, iconic yellow garage doors and an outdoor green-space for the kids, Postino East is an ageless gathering place full of welcome.
Tempe, Arizona ASU’s red brick schoolhouse-turned-art-studio-turned winecafe is an ultimate adaptive reuse project. In the shadow of Sun Devil Stadium and at the gateway to campus, we responsibly restored and tricked out this midcentury gem with our trademark garage doors, a huge indoor/outdoor bar and two intimate patios. Postino Annex is the perfect place to visit when headed to downtown Tempe.
Denver, Colorado Lower Highlands is the edgy, vibrant neighborhood located just northwest of downtown Denver. Postino has breathed new life into the historic building of the former Denver BookBinding Company, constructed during Denver's economic boom in 1962. The beautifully and lovingly remodeled space tells the story of the buildings history and takes full advantage of the stunning views of the downtown Denver skyline.
Scottsdale, Arizona Tucked inside a soaring, custom-crafted two-story space on the property’s west end, Postino Kierland rewrote the rules, literally, when designing its first-ever Scottsdale location. Beginning with a sprawling and beautiful indoor-outdoor space that needed some grit, Postino kicked down the walls and etched it's funky, fun and welcoming vibe into the pristine landscape. Highlights include cheeky, colorful artwork, signature rollaway garage doors, and a private event space perched above it all.
Scottsdale, ArizonaThe one that got away...
An architectural unicorn within the Postino family, Scottsdale’s Highland location sits in a stunning 60’s-era bank originally designed by Frank Lloyd Wright apprentice and architectural icon Frank Henry. Surrounded by treasured rock-studded cast concrete fins, Postino Highland boasts vintage-glam art, a cantilevered glass-box bar, a wall of vintage matchbooks spanning six decades, and a picture-perfect patio bathed in shade from mature ficus trees.
